Police Complaints Visualiser

Description

Takes the nearly unreadable police complaints data and presents it graphically, allowing you to drill down into the data and query it.

Ideas for taking this project forward

I need to know the number of police for a given area in London. It is not currently a public figure. this make the data relatively useless.

Estimated costs for taking this project forward

The cost of publishing how many police there are in each Borough. Some thing that really should be in the public domain already, with out that figure any analysing of the data will be seriously flawed.

About the data used for this project

BSMI (Borough Support Management Information) Main Report - December 2009 (covering period December 2008 to November 2009)

http://www.met.police.uk/foi/pdfs/prioritiesandhowwearedoing/corporate/dpsbsmimainreportdecember2009.pdf

The data was in a copy protected PDF, that tried to prevent copy and paste of the data!

I could not find out how many police there where in each Borough
